Review for WeSPARK Cancer Support Center, Sherman Oaks, CA, USA
I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I also had a tumor in my brain, and throughtout all this weSpark has been the best therapy I could have had to recover from all this. There are many cancer patients and survivors who cannot afford classes and, for me, taking taichi has been a life saver. I love weSpark and I love what they do for people who desperately need help with the emotional and psychological aspect of the illness. Taichi has helped me achieve the inner peace that I needed so badly. I hope we weSpark is around for as long as cancer patients and survivors need it. Thanks to the lady that so wholeheartly runs this institution and also thanks to their staff.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have and I am presently experiencing the way it affects me and the people around me. I live alone, but when I come to weSpark, I am not alone anymore. I love the taichi classes and so do my friends who get so much peace and comfort from it.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I can't comment about this because I do not know exactly how they run. I can only say that my experience with them is very positive. What I can comment on is the fact that this institution has given me and the people I know a lot of peace and happiness.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Going to taichi classes and meetings all the marvelous people that go there. If weSpark was not there for me, it would totally change my life in a negative way. WeSpark is an oasis in a world full of trouble and uncertainty.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The staff and volunteers are great people especially the lady running the place. When you walk into a place and people are warm and smile at you, you feel very welcome
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
If they had this kind of money, they could help so many more people in so many different ways. People are the driving force behind institutions and if they feel so strongly about something, they can achieve great things. Hopefully,
Ways to make it better...
My experience has been great at weSpark. I would like to emphasize that the lady that runs the place is an inspiration because of her sweet and gentle disposition - always smiling on her face and ready to give you a hug.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
With a greater amount of funds, weSpark could do great things. All the classes they have there are inspirational - just what people who have gone through a lot need. I hope there is a way they can achieve their goals.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I just hope the best for weSpark not only for me but for the many cancer patients and survivors, some of them with just a short amount of time left to live, who thrive in the goodness that this place hands out to each one of us in so many different ways.
