Review for GO Campaign, Santa Monica, CA, USA
I serve as a trustee for a small family foundation dedicated primarily to assisting grass roots programs for children and families in need. The Go Campaign has become our favorite charity. We are especially impressed by Scott Fifer's innovative approach, the attention provided to their programs, the level of transparency and follow through, their overall impact, and the care given to funders and those receiving funds. It is an inspiring and very well run program that deserves more recognition for all that they have accomplished with their small staff and little overhead. Once the Go Campaign identifies a worthwhile program to fund, we know that the money will be well spent and that the goal will be reached on time.

I have met many of the people who have received funding from Go and their lives and communities have been transformed with very little money. Go's monitoring and feedback are very helpful. I have worked directly with Scott on a number of matters and I am delighted to be part of their efforts.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would expose them to more foundations and big donors so that they could expand to help more children. There is nothing about the organization itself that I would modify. I believe they are moving in the right direction by updating their web site, diversifying their board and expanding their reach.
