My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Irvine, CA, USA
I can't express to you the value of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. This foundation raises money to further studies done on pediatrics and if you are ever faced with a child having cancer you will truly understand the importance of PCRF. None of the other big name foundations focus on only peds and knowing that pediatric is an extremely different study and treatment plan, more focus is needed. My son was a product of the PCRF study funding and without their dedication to pediatrics I'm not sure if our son would be here today. PCRF is constantly looking for doctors and hospitals willing to make a difference in the lives of children and for that I thank them. Their efforts changed our lives and our son who was given a 5% chance to live at age 5, is now 19 years old and attending college. We are forever grateful and dedicated to seeing them find a cure!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my child surviving cancer.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
do just what they are doing as they are making headway and a huge difference.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the common bond that we have with the staff and volunteers. We are all here for the same reason, to find a cure.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing in every aspect of the word. These are people that go above a beyond to make a difference for children effected with cancer.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make a big dent in childhood cancers!
Ways to make it better...
I got involved more often.
