I loved working at Desire Ministries! I was so excited to work at the farm and Kristy was a great boss she taught me all i needed to know to take care of the animals. The horses each had their own personality and taking care of them made me so happy. This volunteer job gave me a sense of responsibilty, having to wake up every morning and make sure each stable was clean and grooming the horses taught me how to be efficent and get the job done. One of the funnest times i had at the farm was helping the little kids learn how to ride the horses. Its amazing to see how excited they got when they groomed the horses or rode them. But i would have to say the best part was the horses they were why i worked my hardest they are why i did my best. I defiently recomond this volunteer job for other teenagers looking for a fun way to spend their time.
