I raised money for 25:40 for a recent marathon, and I was particularly impressed with the leadership of Alec and Amy Zacaroli. They have a personal attachment to helping touch the lives of children afflicted by AIDS in South Africa. Alec thoroughly explained how this nonprofit organization works with the government in South Africa to ensure that a coordinated effort is implemented in combating AIDS/poverty. I am fully confident that all donations to this organization are well spent, and I hope to participate in more of their events in the future.
