My husband passed away last year and I am so grateful I was directed to Mary's Place. Our son was 4 at the time his father passed and we really needed all the help we could get. We both attend the programs at Mary's Place and have met so many wonderful people. It's amazing how comforting it can be to speak with others going through much of the same emotions.

I feel much stronger as a result of having attended grief groups at Mary's Place. Talking with people who are farther along in their journey is so comforting, knowing that we will get there as well. My son loves the children's group and speaks freely about his father and his grief which is so healthy.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
This organization is amazing. The only thing I can think of would be to expand the services to others. Older widows/widowers, adult children that have lost parents or siblings, etc.
