Review for MOMS Club of Costa Mesa, Costa Mesa, CA, USA

Since joining MOMS Club of Costa Mesa in March 2010 I have really enjoyed the MOMS, the kids and the great activities. I enjoyed the club so much that I volunteered to be President and that position started the June after I joined. It has really been great. It seems that every month we are working on a new charity event trying to raise funds or collect needed items for people and charities who really need it. There is so much good to be done in the word and if you can find a great non-profit like MOMS Club of Costa Mesa to do that you should because having fun and doing good for people who need and deserve it is just an amazing feeling.

Seeing the thanks and well wishes in the Thank You cards that we get from the families and foundations that we help out during the year.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try to get more of the MOMS who have paid to be in our chapter more involved in our activities and charity events. We have a great group of MOMs who love to help out and be involved but it would be great to say that every one of the MOMS in our chapter has helped out in some way, we currently have 65 MOMS as members.

Role:  Board Member & I helped raise funds and collect needed items for our adopt-a-family project that was through the Human Options Foundation, organize a garage sale that provided funds for some of the charities that we help throughout the year.
