Review for An Orphans Wish, Seffner, FL, USA
Our second daughter lived at the House of Love in the city of Guilin for several months before we adopted her and we are so thankful for the care she received. We were prepared for the possiblity of delays due to institutionalization, but we could tell right away how well she was cared for as she was developmentally right on track. I was also amazed at how well the staff prepared her for the transition to our family and how easily it went for her.
We were able to meet some of her carers briefly afterward and it was so touching to see them hold her one last time smiling, talking and even singing with her.
We have since been sponsoring one of her former playmates through An Orphan's Wish and can see the wonderful progress he has made too.

We receive regular updates on the boy we are sponsoring as well as acknowledgments and thank yous for extra/specific donations. This organization is very good about letting you know the impact your donation is having on the children and you really feel like you are an integral part of their lives.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Encourage more people to get involved, experiencing the personal joy of changing lives and allowing AOW to have an even greater impact on these precious kids in Guilin.
