My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Irvine, CA, USA
I have been the volunteer photographer for PCRF for over 10 years. PCRF has the most wonderful uplifting events. I have watched the children fighting cancer grow up to become speakers and supporters of the PCRF organization. I am constantly amazed at the childrens progress and life quality in thier survival against thier battle with cancer. I have developed personal relationships with the families and can say I get way more back then I have ever given. PCRF is a wonderful organization. I have volunteered for other organizations and they do not seem to be able to pull off the events as well or evolke the same feeling of hope and success as PCRF does.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the healthy glow and positive results of the survivers of childrens cancer.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
add an event or two, change up the evants a little. For the most part they are run so well it may be toomuch to add or change them.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the relationships I have built over the years with the families and children.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
fun and great to work with.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
increase the quality of life and survivalship of children.
Ways to make it better...
I really can not think of ways to improve this organization.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the economy.
One thing I'd also say is that...
the PCRF staff are the most driven and hard working staff and could probably use some more staff members. Dr. Cairo and Mr. Carew give a lot of themselves to this organization which is part of the success of the PCRF organization.
