Review for Christopher's Haven, Boston, MA, USA
Christopher's Haven is an outstanding place for children with cancer, their parents and the other caregivers who travel to Mass General Hospital with them for proton beam therapy. I have heard countless times from families that dealing with their child's illness is overwhelming but that Christopher's Haven offers respite, community and comfort that they could not believe existed. The lodging that Christopher's Haven provides is located across the street from the hospital where the children and their families spend countless hours. The apartments are well professionally decorated, comfortable and dignified. At the end of a long day, clients can return to a place they can call home.
