Review for Committee For Ciudad De Los Ninos De Salamanca Inc, San Francisco, CA, USA
I attended a fund raiser event for this organization. I was happy to support it after hearing about the various orphanages they support in Latin America. They started with the main one in Salamanca, Mexico and have expanded to help a few more in Central America.
It really seems like they spend very little in overhead so that the money can benefit the children.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
suggest that they become better organized so they can be more efficient. I realize that having to rely so heavily on volunteers is difficult but it's a good way to make the funds go a longer way.

I served as a volunteer interpreter for their Political Asylum Program and was very impressed with the level of organization and service the LCCR provides. I worked on many different cases and every time the dedication of all staff involved, including the pro bono attorneys, was amazing!
