My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Enduring Faith Ministries Inc, Bear, DE, USA
I have had the pleasure to volunteer with Enduring Faith Ministries and the results are humbling. Pam and Ron have dedicated their lives to making a difference and that is exactly what they are doing. Years ago Pam and Ron decided to bring Jesus to the incarcerated. Pam and Ron share the bible with zest and passion. I am always amazed at how Pam can be sharing with about 75 ladies and yet you could hear a pin drop in the room. Pam freely shares from personal experiences and brings bible verses to life. Pam uses props to paint a picture for the ladies and provides concrete biblical principles to help keep them moving forward in their lives. I enjoy watching how the ladies come into the room and they light up with seeing Pam. It is because Pam's genuine love for the ladies is visible.

Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
Absolutely. I'm not a risk taker by nature and I guess I never pictured myself serving in prisons. But the warmth of the reception I received was unconditional and I have learned a lot from volunteering with Enduring Faith Ministries.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Each time I serve I cry. I cry listening to Pam share her sermon. I cry watching the ladies receive Christ's love. I cry listening to the love being exchanged between the ladies and Pam and Ron. I feel overwhelmed at the kindness the ladies show to me, just volunteering alongside of them. What a blessing.
