Review for Breaking the Cycle, Washington, DC, USA
I find that Breaking the Cycle provides a unique opportunity for students and mentors to engage in positive and motivating experiences.
Beyond basic tutoring, BTC inspires at risk youth to explore higher education and career opportunities in a supportive and caring environment.
Over the past two years, I've witnessed students within the organization excel by being the first in their families to graduate high school/college and receive jobs. Most importantly, I've seen senior members of the organization act as leaders and role models to further promote positive decision making among youth.
