Review for A Face to Reframe, Fort Collins, CO, USA
For over 20 years I worked with community organizations whose focus population was economically disadvantaged families. Our mission was to improve their lives and those of their children by empowering them to break the cycle of poverty. As I saw the determination of the mothers to give their children more opportunities than they themselves had had as well as the resiliency of the kids, I saw hope. They had a story to tell and I was privileged to hear, but not many hear...
Those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged are resilient and they have stories of hope to share. I see the work of A Face to Reframe as a powerful means of enabling this population in a unique and dignifying way. I am proud to serve on the Board of such an organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the mission of the organization, the planning for future projects with homeless youth, and specifically, the work with mentally disadvantaged youth in Turkey.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
increase funding to enable A Face to Reframe to carry out their mission. It's difficult to think some of the projects with women and children will not happen because of lack of funding.
