Review for Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, Cleveland, OH, USA
I live in the suburbs of Cleveland and feel insulated from many of the problems that a big city has - high unemployment, violence, crime, drugs, and poverty. I am so proud of the many all-stars thatt Lutheran Metroploitan Ministry has working to promote peace, justice, advocacy, and serviceto those who are oppressed, forgotten, and hurting in Cleveland. The efforts of this organization are making a difference in the downtown area and they should be commended.

The largest men's shelter in NE Ohio is owned by LMM, and through my church, I have supported and attended events there. The shelter provides safe housing to 3,400 men each year and offers various other services including a work experience program, housing readiness classes, art therapy, gardening and referrals- all designed at building self-sufficiency.
