After 9/11, I became acutely aware of the strong-armed muzzling of the american mainstream media. It became clear that without accurate and freely available information, democracy is a rubble of a dream. A hoax of the highest order.

When Truthout came to my attention, I finally felt able to breathe. For the first time in years! Since then, I have seen their phenomenal influence in resuscitating a demoralized populace. As a result, we are now armed with information that can prove instrumental in reversing our headlong plunge into the hell of another Dark Age.

Though the jury is yet out on that one. Which is why Truthoout is our most important resource!
