Review for Mission4Maureen, South Euclid, OH, USA
My best friend Monica Young Henry is Maureen's husband's aunt. I found out early on about Maureen's diagnosis. Though I live in New York and the Lowis' in Ohio, I was always kept apprised of Maureen's health status from her Aunt Monica. I would occassionally hear from Terrence as well - we shared the fact that he grew up not far from me. Maureen's selflessness, faith, love for family and friends inspires me still. I never met her personally, but I felt like I knew her. There were so many ups and downs with this debilitating illness - I couldn't imagine how this bright, beautiful young couple and parents of 3 children could cope. And yet they did. When Maureen passed away, fittingly, on Good Friday - I felt like I had lost a friend. I pray for her family every night. It is a priviledge to know this family - they are remarkable especially in the way they have turned a tragedy into something so positive and Maureen continues to help others. I proudly wear a bracelet that one of Maureen's friends made. It is my "Angel" bracelet. Barbara Biuso - South Setauket, NY 7/28/2009

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
How many families have been helped both financially and emotionally.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Could never top what is already being done
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Being a part of something so much bigger than myself. As long as Mission4Maureen continues, Maureen will always be with us.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
only online.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Financially help even more people devasted by cancer.
Ways to make it better...
We were still able to post things on the site.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Getting the word out that brain cancer is so highly unpredictable and it doesn't discriminate.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I'm proud to know Terrence.
