Review for Bais Chana Women International Inc, Brooklyn, NY, USA
At a critical time in my life, when I found myself soul-searching and looking for deeper meaning, Bais Chana opened doors for me to learn about my roots, my rich heritage, and ultimately about myself. By participating in their women's program for college students, so long ago, I gained not only precious knowledge and direction about my rich cultural and religious heritage, but I also forged friendships that have lasted a lifetime. A few years ago, my own daughter, in her own search for connection and meaning, also attended a Bais Chana program. I watched, with gratitude, how she blossomed from her own experience. Bais Chana changed my life. I have remained somewhat involved (though not enough) throughout the years, and I have seen this happen over and over again, regardless of age, level of knowledge, direction of search: everyone finds their place, gathers inner strength, and then is able to go forth with a steadier step. There is no other place in this world like Bais Chana, and there is no kinder and gentler soul than the woman who has selflessly made it all happen, Hinda Leah.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my whole life changed direction after I attended a Bais Chana Mid-Winter program during my college days. I strengthened in my religious beliefs, which in turn made me stronger and more determined to do everything I can to make this a better world. I credit Bais Chana for all my (extensive)community involvement throughout the years, and am forever grateful for the work they continue to do to help countless girls and women worldwide.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would make sure they have more funds available so their programs can increase and grow , and serve more people that so desperately need their help.
