I’ve seen local girls (now adults) quit school so early that hurts so deeply; they become men’s slaves and cannot go any further in life. That’s why I feel so grateful to WWT Some of my students belong to the local Girl Club and they are changing a lot. Lots of wonderful changes have taken place; older women are beginning to realize the importance of educating their girls and sending them to school

Promote the participation of girls by creating spaces for them to speak
Role: General Member of the Public & : I’m an English as a Foreign Language instructor in San Pedro Sacatepéquez, I mostly work with San Pedro’s women, teenagers, and children. I also do translations occasionally, written and oral; so I’ve been watching closely.
