Review for Voices of Survivors Foundation, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I followed Lynn on Twitter and was impressed by the way he spoke about Voices of Survivors and the amount of time and passion he put in it.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

learning so much about survivors and co-survivors that helps me by voluntering at local oncology ward. The stories also inspire me to do more for LiveStrong

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the passion Lynn has for his job, the great heart he and the people he talks to put into it and the fact that the stories are so personal and real

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

awesome and totally devoted.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

share even mor voices of survivors and co-survivors and help spread the understanding of what this disease does to people.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  General Member of the Public & I read the stories every day.

Review for LIVESTRONG Foundation, Austin, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The LAF has inspired millions of people all over the world to come together and fight this disease in all it forms. The don't "just" focuson treatment but also on life after cancer and the problems that brings people. They bring hope to so many through Lance but also through the great staff at the LAF. They always have time to listen and help with problems and support who ever asks for that.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the millions of people participating in the LiveStrong Challenges and in the way people find hope in Lances return to the bike. Hope truly rides again for so many. The inspiration and hope coming form the LAF never seizes to amaze me

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

change nothing, they do an awesome job.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the way the provide people with hope and inspiration and help me to be a good local Livestrong Army leader. They have become my second family

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

alwasy willing to help and look for answers with you. They inspire you to do a good job in raising awareness that this disease kills more people than any other disease

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

raise even more awareness and help more people who suffer from this disease or its consequences

Ways to make it better...

It couldn't have been better. They tick all the boxes

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

no idea, they do the best job they can do

One thing I'd also say is that...

I've never seen an organisation run by people that care so much!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Volunteer & I started up a local LiveStrong Army in the Netherlands because of the wai the LAF and his leaders inspired me.
