Review for International Womens House Inc, Decatur, GA, USA
I am proud to donate both money and my time to this wonderful agency. They help women and children who are foreign-born and have been victims of domestic violence. How difficult it must be to not speak English and be unable to express the abuse you go thru in your homes. This shelter has many bi-lingual and tri-lingual staff that helps women feel comfortable in a shelter setting. It's a warm place with good people trying to help others.

In my capacity as a volunteer and donor, I have personally seen the afterschool program for children who are tutored 4 times a week and the art therapy program for children as well. This has been extremely beneficial to the kids who either have been victims or have witnessed abuse in the home.

From what I have seen, I would not change anything to this organization. They have caring staff and seem to be very sensitive to different cultures.
