Review for Sisters Circle Inc, Timonium, MD, USA
I've mentored an inner city girl for 7 years now through Sister's Circle. My mentee is just about to graduate from high school and I am thrilled. This is a major achievement given her family dynamics. She was a neglected child who needed someone to care about her. She said, "I don't know where I'd be if it hadn't been for Sister's Circle."
My Sister's Circle worked to get her into better schools in Baltimore. We provided emotional support during times of abuse and neglect. Sometimes, we provided food and school supplies, but mostly we offered her encouragement and the understanding that she deserved a better life. She vows to get a college degree even though she is now a single mother.
