Review for The Philadelphia Protestant Home, Philadelphia, PA, USA
I have lived in Lawncrest for over 50 years and PPh has always been a part of the Community. Until recently, I had never been to their facility, but always heard from friends and neighbors what a wonderful place it was when their loved ones became residents. No matter what section they chose to reside , residents and visitors always were in warm and caring atmosphere. A friend of mine who is a RN had her mother-in-law residing at PPh and would always remark that she could have received any better care or treatment even if she had been caring for her.
I am involved in many organizatons in the Lawncrest neighborhood and PPh always openstheir doors to many groups in the area. Wheather they are providing a meeting space for one of the groups or if I am their for one of their scheduleded programs, the staff is always warm and friendly as well helpful.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
....most recently when a co-worker of mine was in for rehab after knee replacement surgery and I went to visit her on several occassions and saw and heard fron her about the wonderful staff and facility and wonderful care she was receiving.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I wouldn't want to change things as much as I would like to help them in their daily process of making the quality of life, for those on the down side of the hill, better and more enjoyable.
