Review for Liberty Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc., Scottsdale, AZ, USA
I started volunteering at Liberty Wildlife as a 'thank you' to them for having taken care of numerous injured birds I've brought in over the years (having 4 cats - it's to be expected). It's an honor to work with these majestic birds and the community of the people who care for them.

Releasing an owl into the wild was perhaps the greatest experience I've had. But on a more personal level, I've gained confidence and a quiet calmness in dealing face to face (face to beak?) with these birds and in a way, living in their world.

Like to see more volunteers and donations to continue to improve the facilities and excellent educational programs.
Role: Volunteer & I work on the owl team where we care for orphaned and injured owls so that they may be released again into their natural environment.
