Review for Kenya Education Fund, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My son Bradley Broder (the founder and Excutive Director of the Kenya Education Fund) has been concerned about the homeless and the less fortunate since he was a young child. Bradley worked in a Soup Kitchen from 9th grade until he graduated High School on Lon Island. He built homes in Costa Rica for the poor at the age of 16 and joined the Peace Corp and went to Kenya after college. His dream of a better world did not stop there. In Kenya he fell in love with the children. He saw the desire in the eyes of the young girls to learn and grow out of the man-dominated society. That's one of the main reasons why Bradley created the KEF.
During the Summer of 2007 we visited many all girls schools around
Kenya and spoke with those wonderful young girls who shared their
dreams of becoming Doctors, Nurses, Teachers and business women in order to change the future of their country for themselves as well as
their daughters.
I was overwhelmed with emotion when I saw those young ladies
expressing their gratitude towards the KEF that gave them a chance of
a better life.
We all have good intentions in helping and making a difference in the
World. Bradley is actually making his dreams come true in creating the
KEF.
There are no words to express the pride and love I feel when I see how
many lives my son has changed.
The proud Mom,
Matilde Broder,
President of Power Travel Int'l Inc

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I visited the schools on 2007. Please read above.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I can't think of anything except more funds to help more students.

Role:  Volunteer & We hold an annual Travel Expo in Benefit of the KEF and 100% of the proceeds are donated. This year it will be at the Muttontown Country Club on April 11. .
