I joined weSparks/Santa Clarita in Jan. 2009. I have been a breast cancer survivor sense 2004. I came across an article in the local newspaper with weSparks information and decided it was time I started taking care of myself, so I made the call. Tara and Lenora made me feel so welcome I decided to try the post treatment group. Ever sense that first meeting miracles have been happening in my life. I am also a polio survivor from the age of 3 years and was experiencing new weakness in my arms and legs. I had been trying for years to get a proper diagnosis when a women at the meeting gave me a name of a doctor that might be able to help me. After 6 MRI's, EEG's which lasted three hours and other nerve conduction tests I was diagnosed with post polio syndrome. I was able to go thru all those grueling test because of the training I received from weSparks. The Kundilini Yoga breathing, Guided Meditation, Relaxation techniques, Reikki treatments and the support of the wonderful friends that I have made at weSparks. All their help got me thru those test. I also was invited to a nutrition class where I have learned to cook wonderful healthful dishes for my family. Because of weSparks and their support I am able to accept all the challenges life gives me one day at a time. Thank you, weSparks I am grateful to be a survivor. Charmaine King
