Review for United Way of the Greater Triangle Inc, Morrisville, NC, USA
The Triangle United Way is a truly wonderful organization. I've had the opportunity to volunteer in serveral different roles and love seeing how the United Way and its member organizations help so many people in the Triangle area. With the economy being so bad, the United Way and its affiliates are working extra hard to make sure that everyone that needs help gets it. I love volunteering with the United Way, and have seen how hard they work to help the community with the funds they raise.

I've had the opportunity to experience the results of the Triangle United Way in many ways. The Young Leaders Society, a subgroup within the United Way, sponsors a college awareness tour for youths that might not believe that college is even a possibility for them. The Women's Leadership Council helps middle school girls and sponsors a camp to help develop young girls into young leaders. And I've seen how so many people are helped by each of the member agencies.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
My only change would have been to include some of the outlying areas into the Triangle United Way, such as Johnston County, and that has recently happened. Since these areas really are very interconnected, this was a great move and one that will really benefit all of the communities.
