In response to twistedsnaffle's review, it sounds like someone is a little bitter….did he not hire you for a job or something? I'm sorry to say that you have no idea what you're talking about. I have met with Mr. Valente on different occasions as well as the staff members there and all I have witnessed is compassion, dedication to those animals and very hard work from everyone! I choose to support this group and Mr. Valente for those exact reasons. At the different events they host in the community, the staff and volunteers are always so happy and eager to promote the shelter and seem so proud of their role. I think if the CEO was as bad as 'twisted' describes, these wonderful animal people would leave and go somewhere else. So to end on a positive note, I wish to say thank you HSTC staff and CEO for your love of animals and for promoting animal safety, training and kindness and to anyone who doesn’t know this organization, please go visit and see for yourself what a great place this is! And remember, behind every great organization, is a great leader.
