Review for Carolina Poodle Rescue, Pacolet, SC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

CPR is the best animal rescue group I have found! We adopted our Standard Poodle - Daisy - from CPR in 2011. We chose CPR over other rescue organizations because of the ethical and loving care they provide to their rescued dogs and because of the life-long commitment they offer to all of the dogs that are welcomed to their sanctuary. They willingly take-on difficult to place dogs and provide the love and care that these dogs need to find their forever-homes including the option of permanent sanctuary at Dreamweaver Farm or in foster care. I follow this organization through their newsletter and website and am heartened by the the stories of the loving matches that have occurred and the compassion and dignity that is shown to the dogs that are difficult to place.

Review for The Oral Cancer Foundation, Newport Beach, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been a member of several nonprofit on-line forums and groups but the Oral Cancer Foundation stands out. it offers practical information for oral cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors about what to expect and how to cope with every stage of treatment and post-treatment. It offers access to and it supports cutting-edge and peer-reviewed scientific information about oral cancer. Finally, it provides support and compassion for those affected by oral cancer. It helpe me be a much better caregiver to my husband and I never felt alone.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the outreach during oral cancer awareness walks in the information and medical screenings provided to underserved members of communities such as Harlem.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the quality of useful information for managing oral cancer treatment and the support and compassion given to those struggling wiyh this cancer

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help prevent a large proportion of new cases of oral cancer by promoting Gardasil for both males and females and prevent many deaths through enhancing screenings leading to early detection.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Role:  Client Served & I received information and support to help me in my role of caregiver to spouse and friend with oral cancer.
