Thank you so much for funding 5 digital cameras that will prompt our students to view the world from a different perspective via photography and express their creative thinking through writing.
The Penny Hawk Foundation made the process of purchasing and implemeting this idea refreshingly easy and uncumbersome. I was able to use a small business here in town who not only gave us a wonderful deal , but also agreed to come in and share some photography advice. Your gererous funding will continue to serve our studetns and teachers, as we learn more about the power of photography and the effects of putting that power into the hands of our students.

I am so grateful and appreciative for foundations such as the Penny Hawk Foundation. Your funding provides teachers with the resources necessary to extend creative teaching beyond the walls of the classroom. I am constantly thinking of ways to reach our children through authentic and interesting projects that embed speaking, reading, writing, and your grant made it possible.
