Review for Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Irvine, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Any group that attacks childhood cancer gets an A+ in my book. It is so sad that in this day and age that so many kids have to fight the ultimate fight...the fight for their life. Without the help of PCRF many families would be helpless, lost in the crazy world of cancer all while trying to keep their happy face on for their child. My hat goes off to all involved and I was pleased that I had a chance to help out...even in a small way at their last run. The run was so inspirational and uplifting and it was the most well run 10k I have participated in.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the smiles and stories from paitents.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

get the word out a little more.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

being uplifted.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

outstanding, caring, and inspiring.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

hopefully make advances in cancer research and finding a cure.

Ways to make it better...

there was a larger presence of survivors.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the economy.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am blessed to have participated in their organization.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Volunteer & raised money and ran the 10k.
