Review for Women's Intercultural Center Inc, Anthony, NM, USA

I stayed at the women's intercultural center in January for a BAE trip with other fellow students from the college of St. Benedict and St. John's University. We had an amazing time and were extremely impressed by the level of organization, incredible amount of hospitality we were shown on and off the center, and the inspiration the women had to help better the lives of future members. I plan to visit again this summer, it is such a wonderful place and I believe this is a safe haven for many women and more than worth putting time and effort into to support. The women in El Paso and surrounding communities have and will continue to greatly benefit from the support provided at this center.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Add a self-defense class! Teach women how to protect themselves! Break up that Machismo influence!

Role:  Volunteer & We stayed here while touring the border and other centers to develop a better understanding of the US/Mexico border issues and their impact on the people.
