"I love baroque music, what instrument do you play?" I asked Laury Gutierrez, the Director of La Donna Musicale. "da gamba", she replied. "A what?" "Viola da gamba" "oh"
I went to my first concert and have been in love with the music, ever since. Laury researches women baroque composers and takes the time to explain the history of each of the music pieces. She obtains exquisite musicians and puts on an unforgettable performance.
