Review for Camp Unalayee Association, Palo Alto, CA, USA
I am a past camper, staff member, volunteer, board member and now the mother of a camper! It's where my environmental ethic was formed. There is no better place to send your kids--they get nature, self-confidence, new skills, new friends, new muscles and an appreciation of life away from screens! The staff is uniformly committed and caring; the location stunning, the transformations awesome. I can't recommend it more highly. If we want to keep wilderness as part of our heritage, we need to have kids value it, and Camp Unalayee does the best job of instilling love of wilderness I have ever seen.
