Review for Women of Worth, Cedar Ridge, CA, USA

Women of worth has made a huge impact in our community. We are an entirely non profit organization and several women volunteer full time to help women in this and surrounding counties. we help women in crisis get the help they need for food, shelter. medical, etc and we also have a women's shelter in which we house women and children until they can get on their feet. We also do a "Back to school program in the Fall during which we provide backpacks full of school supplies to needy families in the area. We also a HO HO HO program at Christmas time ...last Christmas we found "angels" who provided Christmas for about 150 families...anonymously.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find more volunteers so that we could do more.

Role:  Volunteer & I run the Women's shelter as a volunteer. We currently have 9 women and children in the shelter and several others wanting to come in. I meet with them 3-5 days a week and look help them through their day to day problems and concerns. Their concerns m.
