My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Empowered Community Services, Woodland Hls, CA, USA
I have read the testimonials written by the very people who are the recipients of the multi-level aid ECS has provided to date. These are simple folks who remain bedeviled by the devastation and deprivation the tsunami visited upon them years ago. I have also been fortunate to be involved in the work ECS has continuously(!) been doing on behalf of Sri Lanka on this side of the ocean. It is a borderline miracle what the Perera family, numbering only four souls, has accomplished. Their dedication and assistance has been selective and focused on what it is that the remote village people really need short and long term. Clothing and school supplies for now, fishing boats(!!!!) for subsistence, and computers and text books for education; a long term goal. It has been an honor and a pleasure helping this happen.
