My internship with Udayan Care, in collaboration with the Student Research Training (SRT) team from Duke University, was an incredibly enriching and insightful experience. It offered me the opportunity to work closely with orphaned and separated children and contribute to meaningful research focused on their psychosocial well-being. I gained hands-on experience in qualitative data collection, interview coordination, cultural translation, and workshop facilitation. This internship not only strengthened my research and communication skills but also deepened my understanding of trauma-informed care and child protection. I am grateful for the support and learning environment provided by the team, and I look forward to staying connected with Udayan Care in the future.
