This Summer (2025) I had the opportunity to go to Wamunyu on a two week volunteering trip. The whole experience was more than I could’ve imagined! As someone who has been fortunate to travel to a variety of different places for different reasons, I can confidently say this has been one of my favorite and most impactful trips. My group was able to be extremely involved with local school kids, teachers, and community members. Having this interactive experience thanks to Kenya Connect, was amazing! Everyone on their staff is so empowering to work alongside; I admire the work they do everyday and hope to contribute further.
