Within just a few weeks of submitting our application, our family of five was on a memory-filled trip to Idaho. The process was quick, simple, and thoughtfully organized. As a military family with three small children, we don’t often travel, but this experience reminded us how important it is to pause, connect, and create joy together.

From exploring Yellowstone and Bear World to playing at splash pads and earning National Park Junior Ranger badges, our kids were all smiles. The home we stayed in was beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a week of quality time.

Even when we ran into unexpected travel issues on the way home, Host A Hero stepped in and generously covered expenses like our hotel and transportation. That kind of care and support meant the world to us.
