I joined the Volunteer Team at PHS & SPCA about 6 months ago. I began volunteering with the Outreach group and learned so much about PHS & SPCA by interfacing with the Outreach Manager and the other volunteers. We had tables set up at different events and were able to share more about the company with the public. A few months later I was able to take the training classes to work hands-on with squirrels and songbirds. The training was enlightening and I was able to start volunteering with the wildlife by feeding them, refreshing their food and bedding, preparing food, etc. What makes this a great volunteer experience is the helpful & caring staff & volunteers!
