My fiancée and I have had a disturbing experience involving a social worker named Chrissy Parlow from Community Care, Inc. After Chrissy inserted herself into a private family situation — uninvited and without consent — we attempted to address the issue professionally. What followed was anything but.

Instead of resolving things through dialogue or proper channels, Chrissy and her fiancé began sending my fiancée a series of vulgar, threatening messages. These were not isolated incidents — the language was aggressive, profane, and completely unacceptable from anyone, let alone someone affiliated with a caregiving organization.

When we reached out to the organization directly, including her supervisor, we received no response. No acknowledgment, no accountability — just silence.

It’s alarming that someone representing a nonprofit that works with vulnerable people would act in such a way, and even more troubling that the organization itself seems unwilling to intervene or take responsibility.

I’m writing this not out of spite, but out of genuine concern for others who may be in vulnerable situations. If this is considered acceptable behavior at Community Care, Inc., then that speaks volumes. We expected care and professionalism — what we got was hostility and harassment.
