Review for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, Wynnewood, PA, USA
www.alexslemonade.org is a wonderful organization dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. Alex's Scott at the age of 4 held a front yard lemonade stand and gave the money to her hospital. Sadly, she lost her battle with Neuroblastoma in 2004. Her family has continued to fulfill her dream so that other children will have better treatments with better outcomes in the future. Our family has held many Alex's Lemonade stands in honor of my son Sean, a Neuroblastoma survivor. We encourage our friends to do the same. It's easy, it's fun, and it is for a great cause!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Improved treatments and research breakthroughs directly funded by Alex's Lemonade Foundation.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Improved HOPE for childhood cancer victims and their families.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Dedicated, Caring, Loving, Generous, Intelligent, Inspriational!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
decrease pain and suffering in children and save lives!
Ways to make it better...

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Time. Kids with Cancer do not have time on their side. Research and therefore funding is needed now. These kids can't wait!
One thing I'd also say is that...
Many childhood cancers, especially those that are rare like Neuroblastoma are underfunded. Treatments remain extremely harsh and too often the outcome poor. More tolerable treatments and improved results are needed now!!
