I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for Feronia Forward’s support in bringing our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders from Saint Agnes Academy to Ramblewild. We had a total of 39 students and 6 chaperones/teachers, and the experience was truly seamless thanks to Derek and his wonderful staff.
The excitement and nervousness among the students were palpable, especially since for many, it was their first visit to Ramblewild. They learned valuable lessons about taking risks and stepping outside their comfort zones, all while feeling supported by the knowledgeable staff. Having the entire basecamp to ourselves allowed them the freedom to engage with the aerial park as much as they wished.
Even several days later, the buzz from both teachers and students about the trip remains. It was inspiring to witness our young learners taking risks, sharing empathy, and collaborating effectively. Many shared their joy about the basecamp experience, while others appreciated the educational hike and the beauty of our local forest. Thank you once again for making this trip memorable for our students.
