I started volunteering at SAFE 7 years ago. It is my second home - my “Happy Place”. Many horses come to us needing help in various ways and it fills your heart when you see them leave us for their Forever Home. It takes months or more to get them in good health, both physically and mentally and a great deal of training so they can be the very best horse they can be. Of course here at SAFE they experience a huge amount of Love and care from all the staff and our Many volunteers.
Of course they give love right back to us so all the hard work makes it so worthwhile.
