I started volunteering with Save the Whales this year and it has been a wonderful experience. From beach cleanups to educating kids about the environment Save the Whales does so much to protect our oceans and champions marine conservation. Through working with them I have been given so many incredible opportunities, like educating kids on how to use a compass or working Whalefest. Being with Save the Whales has been such a joy and I would highly recommend volunteering with them even if you are not a marine science major.
