Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am Ann-Marie Annang, a second year student studying BSc. Business Administration
(Accounting and Finance) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
(KNUST), Ghana. I am also a beneficiary of the Educational Pathways International(EPI)
Scholarship program. This program has changed my life in many ways and taught me many
things.
The first way it has transformed my life is the financial aid it provides me. If not for the help
that EPI is offering, It would have been very difficult for my mother to cater for my education
since my father is deceased. The scholarship covers absolutely everything including laptops
leaving me with nothing much to worry about and this pushes me to focus purely on my
studies without being burdened with financial troubles.  Occasionally the Program Director of
EPI gives us valuable life lessons in all aspects of life that would make us well-rounded
individuals. She is also available to give counsel to us whenever we face certain challenges in
life and in our studies.
As part of the scholarship requirements, we are required to engage in internship programs
during vacations. I believe this requirement is so because EPI wants us to get the best of
experiences so that we would stand out. During my vacation, I got the chance to work in the
Accounting Department of one of Ghana's finest 4-star hotels in Accra. I got the chance to
learn so many things during my short stay there including the need to value the understanding
of whatever I am studying in school. Ever since then, I have applied that perspective to my
study routines and it has proved to be very effective. I also got the chance to learn certain
things beyond my year so I have already gotten insight into some concepts that are yet to be
treated by my lecturers. So I get a clearer understanding of such concepts whenever they are
brought up in lectures.
The reason why I chose my programme of study is that I love solving problems and I am very
meticulous which are all essential skills needed by people in the field. I would love to read a
professional course in Accounting in the future so that I can become a Chartered Accountant
in the future. Just as EPI has transformed my life, I would also love to help and transform the
lives of the people in my community.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to EPI for giving me this big opportunity. As the
saying goes, “Education is the greatest gift you can ever give to a child”. I appreciate it.

Thank you.
