Since September 2023, I have been volunteering as a data analyst at Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) headquarters. Every Friday, I travelled to Steung Meanchey, joining the CCF management team to support their data analysis and decision-making processes. This hands-on involvement has given me insight into the organization’s professionalism and deep commitment-not just in fundraising, volunteer coordination, and marketing, but in every aspect of their operations.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my experience has been knowing that my analytical skills contribute directly to CCF’s mission. By helping the team make data-driven decisions, I’ve played a small part in maximizing the impact of their programs-from education to community development-benefiting over 2,000 students and 10,000 people annually.
Volunteering at CCF has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my time in Cambodia. It’s inspiring to be involved with an organization recognized internationally for its innovative approach to education and community support, and to see the tangible difference it makes every day in Steung Meanchey. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to CCF’s efforts to improve the lives of children and their families.
