We just moved to Tucson in 2022 and I was looking at animal rescues near me where I could volunteer or just donate to. I ended up finding this wonderful place on the web. I started volunteering once a week at Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians.I come around 11 am on Thursdays and usually stay a couple hours. I give out some wet food to the cats for a lunch snack. They start lining up when it’s time for their snack. I scoop the litter boxes and whatever else needs to be done. I get to go around and love on all the cats. They are just precious. They all make me smile. Feels great knowing you can give of your time to such a great place. These precious babies need our love and support as they lost their owner or “person” and had no where else to go. They get to hang out and have comfort, feel safe, fed, and loved. It’s what they deserve. They all get to enjoy the rest of their lives and we get to love on them. It’s a win-win!
This place is a GodSend! What a wonderful place we have here in Tucson, AZ. I thank God that we have this amazing place here. The cats are well taken care of with Vet visits and check ups. They take care of all their needs all the way down to when it’s time to say good-bye whether it be from old age or illness. Everything is done for the health and welfare of these awesome cats. Everyone here is wonderful. It gives me so much joy to give of my time to hang out with these beautiful, amazing cats. I encourage everyone to please come check this place out.
