Review for Healed Women Heal, Pomona, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Dear Sister,

I never imagined I’d find the strength to write a letter like this. There was a time when I felt completely alone—afraid, silenced, and broken by the weight of pain I carried. But today, I write to you not from a place of despair, but from a place of healing, hope, and deep gratitude.

When I found the courage to reach out to the domestic violence support group, I was terrified. I didn’t know if anyone would understand, if I’d be judged, or if speaking up would make things worse. What I found, instead, was a circle of women who welcomed me with open arms and open hearts—women who knew my pain without me saying a word, who shared their stories, their tears, and their triumphs.

This group became more than just a support system—it became my safe place, my mirror, and my reminder that I am not alone. Every story I heard, every hug I received, and every step I took reminded me that healing is possible. That I am not defined by what I survived, but by how I rise from it.

I am deeply grateful to the women who held space for me when I couldn’t hold it for myself, to the counselors who gently helped me reclaim my voice, and to the community that believed in my strength until I could believe in it again.

To anyone reading this who is scared to take that first step, I want you to know: there is no shame in seeking help. There is only courage. You deserve to be safe. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to heal.

If you’re wondering whether a group like this could help you—please, give yourself the chance. Walk into that room. Listen. Speak when you're ready. Cry if you need to. Laugh when it comes. You don’t have to do this alone. We are here, and we are waiting with hearts full of hope and hands ready to hold yours.

With all my love,
A Survivor Who Found Her Light
