Veterans Airlift Command is truly an incredible organization. Their network of volunteer pilots and supporters have some of the biggest hearts you’ll ever encounter—willing to go above and beyond to help veterans in need.

For me, their support meant a healing trip with my family to Alabama—time spent outdoors, together, laughter, and peace. It was an opportunity to reconnect and recharge.

Danielle was amazing from the start. She explained the process thoroughly, handled logistics seamlessly, and stayed in constant contact to make sure everything went smoothly. Most importantly, she made sure I felt seen, respected, and comfortable throughout the journey.

Veterans Airlift Command helps not only those with visible wounds, but also those like me—whose injuries from service aren’t always as easy to see. They understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and that means everything.

Thanks to the generosity of Anderson Trucking out of St. Cloud, my kids got to ride in a private jet for the first time ever. On the return trip, we had the unforgettable honor of flying with Dave Wood and his flight companion—an experience my family will never forget.
